About Eugene:

Hi, my name is Eugene. I have earned my Master and Bachelor’s Degree in Russian and Belarusian in Belarusian State University. Besides that I have graduated from the postgraduate doctoral program in Institute of Russian/National Bilingualism in Moscow and defended my dissertation. Friendly and professional, I specialize in finding the most comfortable way for a student to learn and focus on their goals. My professional background as well as my classes and years of self-development in English have given me not only an intellectual but also a “visceral” understanding of the various styles in foreign language teaching. As a participant of research projects, I specified, implemented, and described the most effective approaches and methods for teaching Russian as a Second/Foreign language. I have built my own research-validated teaching approach are based on understanding of personal psychological characteristics of students, their personal language abilities as well as their prior communicative competence in hearing, understanding, speaking, reading, and writing in both native and foreign language. I am cheerful, encouraging, and within that context like to find the most effective and comfortable way to challenge any student to enjoy studying and thereby really be successful.
