Besides that I have graduated from the postgraduate doctoral program in Institute of Russian/National Bilingualism in Moscow and defended my dissertation. My teaching career begun while I was an university student when I was chosen to teach in the Elementary Russian Grammar and Oral Communication courses for Pushtu and Farsi spoken students from Afghanistan. After two years of work as a Russian teacher in a Belarusian secondary school I started my postgraduate doctoral program and further work in Institute of Russian/National Bilingualism. I successfully combined my research interests with teaching Russian for Spanish, English, Farsi, Polish, Turkish spoken students of post graduate level in small groups and by one-on-one method. I taught Grammar, Writing, Reading and Composition classes with full responsibilities for curriculum development, test preparation, proficiency testing, and extracurricular programming. I presented course materials through oral presentations, written material, role playing, and other methods as well as composing and preparing lesson plans, projects, reports, and assignments. As a result, I have built my own research-validated teaching approach are based on: • strict determining current and prospective goals of teaching with further materials selection for every learning stage; • understanding of personal psychological characteristics of students, their personal language abilities as well as their prior communicative competence in hearing, understanding, speaking, reading, and writing in both native and foreign language; • creating of cultural and language microenvironment and training models through intensive using audio- video-, online sources; • comprehensive monitoring of levels of achievements in the attainment of course objectives; • evaluation of individual performance of students through formal examination and personal observation with following prompt corrections teaching tactic as well as offering assistance to students who have difficulty with the course materials. I earned wide-ranging experience in preparing pilot programs, curriculums, teaching methods, and guides for wide range of courses, including Russian Studies, several areas of Humanities, Educational Psychology, and Foreign Languages. I was widely considered to be an expert writer, proofreader, and editor as well as a teacher. Being a legal immigrant for five years I had to interrupt my educational career for my own social and cultural adaptation in the United States until I have received a Citizen’s status. Meanwhile, I have been preparing to continue my educational career in the American Colleges where I have earned over 40 credits towards bachelor degree, including ESL, College Writing, Freshman English I and II, American Sign Language.
