Hi there! My name is Ana, but i prefer to go by Trisha. I am currently a sophomore at Old Dominion University where I am majoring in International Studies. I enjoy nearly all types of music, watching and playing football and soccer, and playing with my pets. I am also fluent in Portuguese, as it was my first language and I am also proficient in Spanish. My goal is to one day be able to work in international government as a translator, which leads me to what I have to offer you! I attended both private middle school and highschool where the importance on good grammar and excellent writing skills was particularly stressed. I have always enjoyed reading and I am a firm believer that reading is key to developing good writing, reading, and grammar skills. I am an energetic person and I have lots of patience with other people which I believe is very necessary when trying to help people understand new or frustrating concepts. I am very open-minded and easy-going and eager to assist anyone that needs my help!

Portuguese

I am Portuguese, it is my ethnic background as both of my parents were born and raised in Portugal. Portuguese was my first language growing up and I continue to use Portuguese almost every day when I speak to my parents or friends. I did take Portuguese grammar classes as a child for 3 consecutive years, and I have also completed six credits of college-level Portuguese. In addition, I do go to Portugal once every year for about a month or so, which undoubtedly helps keep me fluent in the language.
