My name is Evan and I want to be your tutor. Right now I attend Columbia College Chicago with a major in writing and producing for television. At school, I write and am the senior producer for their sketch comedy show, "Out on a Limb". I've worked on that show now for four seasons and am well versed in concise writing because of it. Outside of school I perform in comedy groups, write every single day, whether it be sketch, prose, poetry, short story, or narrative essay. If that wasn't enough, I just completed the Comedy Studies program over at The Second City in Chicago and I continue to learn and perform over there. I graduated Neuqua Valley High School in 2005 as the recipient of the Donald and Lorena Meier Scholarship from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. During my time at NVHS I worked on their weekly news program and begun my freelance career that I continue now. I can operate editing systems such as Final Cut with ease and am an efficient editor. I'd love to help you with reading, literature, and writing of all sorts as these are my passions in life. Hopefully I can pass my knowledge on to you in a laid back and fun way that you'll remember and keep as skills to aid you in years to come. I am very patient and I absolutely love kids if you were in the market for a tutor for your son or daughter. I will teach people of all ages, but very interested in helping K-12 whether it be your spelling list or college admissions essay. Give me a shot and I won't let you down!
