ACT Having achieved high scores on the SAT, I am familiar with both the subject matter and techniques necessary to succeed on the SAT and ACT. I am experienced in transferring this knowledge to students and am excited about continuing to do so. elementary (k-6th) Academically, I am proficient in all subjects for this age of student. I am extremely patient and personable, which is very important for this age of student. I try to give a lot of positive reinforcement when concepts are learned and re-direct the student in a different direction when concepts are challenging and the student is having trouble. Understanding concepts at this level as well as enjoying learning is critical for future success and I strive to help students achieve these goals. study skills I am naturally a very organized person which is extremely helpful when it comes to focusing on schoolwork. I think I can relay many of my organizational methods to students to help promote good study habits and, overall, improve a student's grades.
