I am a college graduate from San Diego State University, majoring in Kinesiology with emphasis on Fitness, Health, and Nutrition. I am currently in a post-undergraduate process to medical school. I work part-time at a physical therapy clinic, and I decide to spend some time being a tutor. I have previous tutoring experience in a middle school as an AVID tutor. I helped kids on their English grammar and Math. Spending time with kids helped me realize how fast they grow up. During this process, I would like to assist them in any aspect I could to make them a better person.
In my spare time, I love doing sports. I play tennis, basketball, and baseball in a regular basis. For those of you who are interested in learning the game of tennis, I can help you. I used to play tennis at collegiate level at City College of San Francisco. I also coached tennis in San Diego at high school level.
Another thing that I do is music. Music is very important in my life because this is a way for me to communicate with others and to express myself. I started learning piano at the age of 6. I possess a grade 8 certification by Royal School of Music. I am currently a co-pianist for my church in San Francisco. I would love to share my musical appreciation with you!
I can also provide help on learning the language of Chinese. I was born and raised in Hong Kong, China. I moved to San Francisco when I was 17; so, I am fluent in Cantonese and Mardarin and I can speak, read, write in Chinese with ease. I can provide tutoring on conversational Chinese, grammar, and writing. Also, for those who just came from China, I can help you on your ESL skills. I was an ESL student myself once I came to the US, and I know exactly what an ESL student need to succeed in school.
