About Jessica:

My name is Jessica and I am currently a part-time Spanish teacher for Pre-K to 8th graders at Oak Ridge Christian Academy. I have an Associates Degree in Foreign Languages from Austin Community College and am currently pursuing a degree in Early Education from Sam Houston State University. I lived in Latin America for about a year and learned to speak conversational Spanish from the locals. I am very passionate about the language and enjoy teaching at any grade level. Spanish is not my first language so I am able to help those struggling with tricks I myself learned along the way. I focus on pronunciation and encourage my students to use the Spanish they are learning in order to progress in the language.
