    I have been playing upright and electric bass for 14 years and guitar for 12 years. I have studied and performed many different styles of music- played in many rock bands (currently Politicks from D.C.), folk rock groups (currently Miles Apart from Charlotte), jazz ensembles (currently playing regularly with many different people such as Lenny Marcus, VA; Roland Satterwhite, New York; and many others), classical ensembles (currently Musica Viva Orchestra, Blacksburg; sub for Roanoke Symphony, Roanoke) and other styles. In college my primary instrument was bass but my love of the guitar led me to study with the guitar instructors and play in the guitar ensemble as well. I have taught bass and guitar for 5 years now and have enjoyed success with my students.
