I've been an educator for nine years and really want to help those students that are struggling. I know how difficult it is to grasp certain concepts, having a leaning disability myself. I want to provide students with a laid back and relaxed atmosphere, where they can learn to gain confidence in their own abilities.

I had the chance to live as an exchange student for a year in Germany and still have contacts there. I speak German fluently and am very knowledgeable about German culture. I have taught Beginner German for six years. I taught World History at the highschool level as well. During college, I helped tutor history to other students. I helped out in an after-school program for students with deficiencies in Language Arts.

I majored in history at The College of New Jersey with minors in English, German, and Communications and earned my BA in 1998. I received my masters in secondary education for history and German from Saint Joseph's University in 2004.

  Tennis has always been a passion of mine. I played varsity during high school as the #3 singles player junior year and then the #1 singles player my senior year. I have experience helping others learn how to play and keep score as well. For example, I helped train beginners at Mt. Laurel Racquet Club in New Jersey. I also helped friends and family members learn how to play as well.
