About Katy:

I love mathematics! A lot of people are good at math, but few actually enjoy it. Over the past few years, I've learned that I love sharing my knowledge of math even more than the math itself. Sometimes, all it takes to transform a seemingly impossible subject into something understandable, even easy, is someone who can explain it in just the right way. Another interesting thing about me is that I am also an actor. I work in the theatre and film industry quite a bit, but as enjoyable as it is, I continually find it difficult to pay the bills. I started teaching and tutoring as a side job to help with the rent and found that I love it just as much. Tutoring is a lot like performing on stage. Both are about conveying something to another person in a way he/she can understand. Pick me! You won't regret it.
