I was born in Germany. I have also lived in Australia and Mexico. I am proficient at conversational Spanish and would be an excellent tutor for a Hispanic person who wants tutoring in English. I have been a professional vocalist for thirty years and know music theory basics. I can teach the basics in drawing. I have an associates degree in radio and have taught public speaking as part of my curriculum during my teaching engagement at Barbizon School of Modeling. I taught voice, diction, runway and much more. I have written copy for radio and television production for years, am a powerful public speaker myself, and am a convincing writer who knows how to make someone understand. I also know the Bible well, have taught Bible Study, and am an undergraduate at Multnomah Bible College in Portland, Oregon.

Dear Wyzant, I have been a professional jazz vocalist for more than twenty-five years. I have been Worship Team leader at my church, and have quite a bit of coursework in music, including private voice lessons. I know how to structure exercises to maximize the use of anyone's voice. I would like to be a tutor for voice for Wyzant.

ESL/ESOL

I am well able to teach an ESL class, and can certainly tutor an individual in the English language. It makes a difference that I, myself, was a non-English-speaking immigrant. In my present job at the Marshall SUN Center, where we offer ESL, I have supplemented the classes by being available for those who wanted to schedule a time for English conversation with me. I have done this for a Viet Namese couple, as well as a gentleman from Guam. In addition, I was a personal tutor in ESL for a Hispanic person when I lived in Mexico.

Bible studies

I am presently attending Multnomah Bible College for my Bachelors in Bible. In addition, I have held leadership positions in the church, including the occasional leading of a Bible Study. I have co-led Bible Studies privately and in tutoring situations as well. I have a long and varied history of teaching in private schools and classes, and know how to tailor my teaching to my students' learning styles.

I am an artist who does portraits, landscapes and still-life in graphite and various other mediums for charcoal to crayon. I have several terms of coursework in this subject form Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon. I can teach you how to SEE, and therefor, draw what you see. You will learn about shading line, perspective, and more.
