ESL/ESOL I have been in the language learning business for over 14 years. I speak five languages (English (native), Spanish, French, Portuguese, and French Creole) and have been tutoring foreign languages to English speakers for years. I have tutored ESL (conversation, grammar, writing, accent reduction) for several years to non-native English speakers of all ages, from middle school to college level. I have a BA in languages and an MA in Latin American Studies. I have a very good understanding of most foreign cultures and can identify with many of the particular challenges non native English speakers face. I enjoy helping students learn a new language, particularly my own. I have taught several of my colleagues how to use the program, and have tutored powerpoint to high school students. Students will learn to create sophisticated presentations and slide shows for audiences or classroom settings, which incorporate clip art, imported files/graphs/charts etc. Students will also learn many quick and easy shortcut tools to enhance formatting and overall visual effects. proofreading I am a trained linguist, translator and reviser. I have over 10 years experience in proofreading and editing and a strong academic background in the field. I have a BA in languages, a certificate in translation, and an MA. I can speed read and have experience proofreading technical and legal documents in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese.
