About Wendy:

I love to teach creative writing! If you need help polishing your writing, I can help. I have taught English and Language Arts for 13+ years including grades 5-12. I have lots of experience teaching classical American, British, and world literature. In addition, I have taught composition, grammar, English as a Second Language (ESL), art, and reading. When I was a nanny during my college years I tutored elementary-aged children in reading and phonics. In my free time I love to read science fiction and fantasy books as well as young adult fiction novels to stay current in teen literature. My husband and I have two cats and three dogs, all rescued/adopted. I believe that learning can be fun--but the job must be done!
