Learn More About Connie's Experience:

piano I have been a piano teacher for over 30 years. My undergraduate degree was in music education with a major in piano from Crane School of Music at SUNY, Potsdam, New York. I received a Masters degree in piano performance with an emphasis in accompanying from Boston University, Boston, MA. As a piano teacher I have taught students of all levels and ages, including adults. I have been the administrator for the conservatory at the private university preparatory school where I taught and also for a homeschool private lesson program. As such I interviewed and hired private instrumental and vocal teachers, scheduled teachers and students, and wrote contracts for the lesson programs as well as communicating with both teachers and students. I am certified to teach the Royal American Conservatory Examinations program and am familiar with most piano methodologies. In my piano teaching I teach music reading, repertoire, technique, ear training, and sightreading.
