From training and heart, I'm a high school teacher. From experience and expertise, I'm a persuasive communicator of concepts, especially in helping students, young and old, understand how language works. I've worked as a textbook editor for English grammar, a relief missions leader to underprivileged people groups in the former communist countries of Eastern Europe, and a corporate communications professional for major global firms. I speak English, German, and "Student": having tutored young people of all kinds--ESL, learning disabled, average, and gifted--I relate to each on his or her level and make the learning experience enjoyable.
