accountancy I have obtained a BA in Accounting, CPA as well as Management from Hartwick College in Oneonta NY. To date, I have completed a total of 146 credits without pursuing any additional degrees. In order to graduate with an Accounting CPA degree I have complete additional accounting classes to prepare me for my CPA exam such as: Business Law I & II, Basic (I&II), Intermediate (I&II) & Advanced Accounting, Statistical Analysis & Operations, Taxation, Auditing, and Financial Management (I&II) as well as complete a 45 page thesis. In conjunction with my accounting courses, I utilized my accounting knowledge to obtain a dual major in Management where we ran simulations such as an Airline Company, Cable Box Manufacturing Company and others completing five Managerial Courses. Currently I am working at KPMG, LLP in Albany NY as an Associate in Internal Auditing, Regulatory & Compliance Services. On a day-to-day basis I put together audit plans, conduct detailed test-work, and prepare reports, narratives and other detailed findings related to my test-work. I also run client interviews, conduct client and audit team meetings as well as prepare bi-monthly billings and invoices for the engagements to be sent to the client. In addition to working in Public Accounting I am also pursuing my CPA Exam. Taking into account my day-to-day duties as well as additional involvements in the Associate of Governmental Accountants, Institute of Internal Auditors, New York State Society of CPA’s, and Young CPA’s, I keep current on issues in the Accounting field and feel that I am more than qualified to tutor whomever needs my assistance.
