About Nichelle:

Hi there! My name is Nichelle (Shelley), and I am willing and available to be your tutor! I have an extensive background in languages. I majored in French, Linguistics, and German at the University of California at Santa Cruz. French was my major language of study, and German a minor focus. I have studied French for many years, and have also taught French for a brief period of time at a Language Magnet high school in San Antonio, TX. I also attended the Defense Language Institute while in the Army, where I graduated with honors from an intensive 63-week long Chinese Mandarin course. Before deciding to major in Language, I had an extensive background in mathematics as well. I maintained a 4.0 GPA through all high school and college and studied all the way from basic Algebra to Calculus III and Differential Equations. I have a particular love for Algebra. I was valedictorian in my high school graduating class, Phi Beta Kappa graduate of UC Santa Cruz.
