I have been a high social studies teacher for the past 15 years and have taught all of the following subjects: government, economics, U.S. History, world history, geography, AP Psychology and introduction to teaching. I was also the gifted coordinator for the high school where I worked. Since I have taught in three different states, I have a good idea of what basics all schools require for general knowledge and have had to prepare students for AP testing (Psychology only) and state testing for all mentioned subjects.

Although I have not been employed as a "tutor", throughout my teaching career I have tutored students before and after school in the mentioned areas and served as a mentor for several students through the senior project process (this involved writing a 10 page paper, constructing a presentation and learning a new skill).
