I am a retired Special Agent with Army Counterintelligence and have taught college courses since 1993. During my military career I served in Korea, Japan, Germany and Saudi Arabia. I hold a MA degree in International Relations from Boston University and a BA degree in Political Science from Drew University. During my undergraduate work I was an exchange student to Germany, England, and at the United Nations in NYC. I have taught the following college courses: American Government, Comparative Government, World Politics, Criminal Investigations and Terrorism/Counter terrorism. I have taught these courses both in the classroom and online (using Blackboard and Web Study software programs). I am "old school" and believe that a student has to "earn" their grade. My job, either as an instructor or tutor, is to provide the student every opportunity to excel. However, it is up to the student to want to accomplish this.
