About Abigail

My name is Abigail. I specialize in math and science. I have taken math up to Calculus 1 and received an A in all classes. As for science, i am best at physics and chemistry receiving A's as well. I have tutored young children, and helped many friends in college level classes. I am currently going to school at American Military University. My degree is a Bachelor of Science in Space Studies. My tutoring style is aimed at helping the student understand the steps to concepts and targeting the problem areas with extra practice. I will continue targeting problem areas for a few sessions to ensure they are completely understood. I would like the student to try doing as much homework as they can first, to ensure that the time during the session is used efficiently. This allows more practice for confusion areas, and less for the known steps. Starting homework early allows the student to gain confidence in their work and progress, instead of needing to wait for me to help.
