I am 20 and currently a sophomore at Arkansas State University. I am majoring in journalism with an emphasis in news editorial and a double minor in English and history. I worked as a reporter during the summer to further my knowledge of this field. So what makes me qualified to tutor? I scored rather high on my ACT in the areas of English and reading. I have design experience with adobe photo-shop. In high school I was a business class completer which means that I am capable of maneuvering around Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. My goal is to help people who struggle with writing difficulties that pertain to college essays, grammar, vocabulary, general writing skills and techniques, mechanics, and understanding writing in general. I'm completely honest when it comes to writing. I provide constructive criticism; I never bring down anyone if they do not quite understand something. I have the patience of a saint because no one is perfect and everyone learns different ways. I will do my best to help those I tutor succeed.
