Greetings. I have been teaching students of all ages since 1996 in the states of NY, NC, GA, and SC. My students come from diverse backgrounds and offer a great deal to any person that they encounter. I've taught and continue to teach in a variety of settings, including public and private, schools and residential, classroom. I am a registered Facilitator and Counselor for Georgia and South Carolina Virtual Schools. My current Georgia Teacher Certification areas include Preschool through grade 12 for general curriculum, social sciences, adapted curriculum and behavior disorders.
I value education, both learning and teaching. I graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Lifespan Development. When it came time to choose a career I began exploring different fields through volunteer work. These areas included schools, hospitals, churches and charitable organizations. Eventually, I selected to obtain a Master of Education at North Carolina State University. Teaching allows me to continue learning and provide a rewarding experience for prospective students.
Thank you for taking the time to read about my background. I look forward to assisting you with your educational needs. Please share your thoughts.
