I was raised in a bilingual (French and English) household and achieved my undergraduate degree in Literature (all kinds) and Theatre, with focuses in women's studies and music, respectively. I am in attendance at Wright state University for a master's degree in French, the end goal being to teach French on a college level. I would like to gain some experience in the teaching field while working on my degree, and am also looking into becoming a certified teacher in the next few years.
I would primarily like to tutor French but am proficient in other subjects as well. My understanding of French is different from many students' as it was learned entirely orally in my home. It is thus very instinctual and my accent is nearly flawless. I took some brush- up classes before applying for my master's and have done all the building blocks of a French student in the past few years.
I believe that I received an excellent education and have found that I respond and learn best in a casual and energetic environment. I am enthusiastic about my subjects and love to share my interests. I am looking forward to helping people who can help me to advance my goals as well.
