About Dawna

I graduated from Florida state University in 2005 with my Bachelors in Child Development. I am currently working on my Masters Degree in Social Work. I also currently tutor reading and math with SES. I typically work with youth between the ages of 4 and 20, but am able to work with most persons. I am computer literate and speak a little sign language. My first language is English.

    I have played basketball for about 16 years. I was the captain and MVP of my high school basketball team. I averaged 24 points per game. I played all positions on the court. I also played for the University of Winnipeg in Canada. I played with the Miami Rain basketball team after playing in college. I also play for a couple of city league teams.

    I am pretty good with computers. I can email and use the different Microsoft programs. I am a student, so I am pretty familiar with how to use pretty much all the programs on any given computer. I am more familiar with PC's than the Mac.

    Study skills are very important. How a person studies is extremely prevalent to how well that person does on a test. The better able you are to learn and remember the information, the higher chance you have to pass a test you are studying for.
