Hello! I am Ms. Toni. I have taught elementary students for 17 years. Being trained very well, I feel I am very good at teaching Reading, writing, comprehension skills (which means understanding what you've read) and word attack skills. For the last ten of my teaching years, I have taught students one-on-one and in small groups from 5 years of age to 4th graders. I have taught students with learning differences, as well.
I am very patient and pleasant to work with. I will assess your needs and choose material that is interesting for you. I believe in acceleration, as opposed to remediation; getting a student to where he/she needs to be in the quickest amount of time possible.
