Arabic
I was born in Beirut, Lebanon and Arabic was my native(first) language. In school I learned Arabic grammar, literature, and history. Therefore, I am very qualified to teach classical (written) Arabic as well as spoken(conversational) Arabic.
discrete math
I have taken courses in linear algebra and matrix theory. I know how counting arguments using the formulas of combinations and permutations can be used to solve probability problems.
I also know how to construct feedback control loops to model dynamic systems . Such systems are very important nowadays in biology and the social sciences especially in economics and finance. These models can predict under certain circumstances the chaotic behavior of systems.
differential equations
I have taken differential equations courses in college and graduate school. In college I minored in physics and I know how differential equations are applied in developing theories of mechanics, electricity, and magnetism.
I also taught a course in partial differential equations at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ
