My name is June S. I have spent over 30 years as a teacher. I have taught every subject including gifted and talented to dyslexia - grades k through 8. My vast experience makes me able to meet the needs of individual students. I prefer working one on one thus helping each student meet his/her potential.

  For the past four years I have been involved in teaching a detailed phonics program for students with dyslexia. This is a twelve step program which includes rules of phonics, vocabulary development, reading fluency, and comprehension. By following the process students learn to have confidence in reading and are able to better meet the needs in all subject matter.
