I am 23 years old, and I just graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in English and education. I am certified to teach English through the 12th grade. Good grammar, mechanics, spelling, research, citations, reading, writing a concise and skillful paper, and helping you become a confident writer or reader are just a few of the things I love to do and know a great deal about. Whether you are a beginner writer who needs to start from scratch, or you've always been confused about why your grades in English aren't so great, or even if you feel like your writing is good and you just need a proofreader, I'm there for you. I can help at any level and will be happy to be of service. I have resource books at my home that we can dig into together, and I have a small library of reading books of all kinds. I can bring any of these with me and we can discuss them, or you can take them home and just have something -- that you actually like -- to read. Think of me as your second English teacher, and you're the only one in class.
