My profile: Working full-time as a quantitative financial engineer at a leading Wall Street firm for about 10 years. Education includes (a) B.Tech in Electronics from the prestigious IIT, India, (b) M.S in Computer Engineering from U.T.Austin, (c) M.S in Computational Finance from C.M.U, Pittsburgh. I teach math simply because I am passionate about both -- math and teaching. I picked it up naturally in the genes from my dad, a leading academician.
To succeed in Math there is no substitute to hard work. I am a task master indeed. But I make learning it so much fun that my students hardly feel the effort they put in. My sessions are like a fun gym class with a trainer ... it is exhausting but you will love it thoroughly, and you will come out with stronger Math muscles. My style is very unique -- the way I gradually build up small concepts, the way I teach intuition and approximation, the way I intentionally teach all the *wrong* and *long* ways to solve a problem and question you what gives before covering the right and elegant ways, ... and there are lots more you can find out when you sit with me. Math is fun guys, but not unless you have a great teacher. Try me, you won't be disappointed.
