My undergraduate degree is in Social Work and I have my Master's Degree in Elementary Education as well as a 6th year degree in Education Administration. I am a stay at home mother with two children at home. My daughter is 4 and attends Pre-Kindergarten and my son is 15 months old.

elementary (k-6th)

I taught 4th grade for seven years in an elementary school in the state of Connecticut. During this time I worked with all levels of students in my classroom. Often times I would have students that were non-readers all the way up to students who were reading at a high school level within the same classroom. I have extensive experience administering diagnostic tests to determine reading levels and providing instruction to improve this level. In addition to reading I taught math, science and social studies. Before working as a fourth grade teacher I worked as a priority tutor within the Kindergarten to sixth grade classrooms. My most recent position was at a Middle School working with 7th and 8th grade students.
