Hi! My name is Irene. I am an alumna of Rutgers University, where I received both my Bachelors and Masters degrees in English. I am currently doing graduate work in English at New York University. For the past two years I have been working as a tutor at the Plangere Writing Center at Rutgers University. In my work as a tutor, I have helped students improve their grammar, eloquence and overall writing style. I have worked with students at all levels from freshman to seniors. I also have experience working with ESL students, as well as students in technical writing courses. Students who have worked with me have reported improvements in their vocabulary, essay organization skills and ability to articulate an argument.
