  How much does tutoring cost through WyzAnt?

  Answer:

  Tutors set their own rate and most range in price from $30 to $50 per hour, with others either lower or higher depending on experience and cost of living considerations. However, WyzAnt does offer discounts to our students for making an advance purchase.

  • You receive a 5% discount on packages of $200-$399, with a total cost of $190-$379.
  • A package of lessons that would cost $400-$999 will receive a 10% discount, resulting in an upfront charge of $360-$899.
  • A package worth $1,000-$2,499 will be eligible for a 15% discount, with a total cost of $850-$2124.
  • Packages of $2,500+ will receive a 20% discount and cost $2,000 and up.
  Remember, satisfaction with your first hour of tutoring is guaranteed and the unused portion of your purchase amount is both refundable and transferable to any WyzAnt tutor.

Dear Students,

I am very happy to be part of Wyzant tutoring team.
As a very passionate individual, I love to share my life's experiences in relation to the subject I teach which is the French language. I believe that intelligence comes from passion and hard work.

Thirteen years ago, I moved to France to study the language and before I knew it, I fell in love with the language, its culture and its environment as a whole.
I studied at the prestigious Sorbonne University which only enhanced my love for the language and the country. My major was French literature and my minor was teaching French as a foreign language. As a result, I lived there for ten years!

In 2007, I moved to the USA in Florida and I felt a desire to share the language through tutoring to anyone willing to learn it either for professional, academic or personal purposes.

My teaching styles is traditional through the use of teaching/learning tools such as books, CDs, computers etc. On the other hand, it is important to adjust the methodologies depending on student's needs which are assessed during the first meeting.

I am very patient and make myself available for students whenever possible.

I look forward to working together with both the WyzAnt team and it's students with success in mind!
