I live in Orlando and I am twenty-six years old. I, also, am a graduate student at the University of Central Florida getting my Master's Degree in History (specializing in American History but fairly well versed in World History as well). I graduated from UCF with a Bachelor's Degree in History and a minor in Spanish Language in 2005. I am very laid back and want to help any student I work with enjoy the subject being covered. Tutoring one on one is a new experience for me, however, I do hold a Temporary Educator's Certificate issued by the Florida Department of Education and I have experience working with student groups as a tour guide at the Orange County Regional History Center in downtown Orlando. I like the idea of working with the student instead of just rattling off information for them. I find this makes a lesson more inclusive, the information easier to retain, and makes the experience a little more fun.
