Hello, my name is Sam. I'm a graduate of the University of Wisconsin class of 2008 with a Bachelors degree in the Humanities. I am currently in the process of applying to graduate schools for the Fall of 2010 and plan to earn my Masters degree in International Relations, which I hope will pave the way for a successful career in diplomacy and politics. I have strong language and writing skills, having excelled in Italian and Spanish language courses as well as writing-intensive humanities and social science courses at the college level.
Some of my academic interests include international affairs, literature, history, philosophy, dramatic arts (acting), psychology, languages, and religious studies. Additionally, I have a strong mathematics ability, having achieved a near-perfect score in math on the Graduate Record Exam, an exam similar to the SAT taken by college graduates applying for Masters degree programs. Hobbies and interests include reading, writing, playing guitar and singing, the theater, movies, music, and family.
I really enjoyed my experience working as a tutor at the University of Wisconsin and am thrilled to continue the process here in New York City.
