Hello, my name is Oscar. I have a B.S. in Biochemistry and seeking a M.S. in Biochemistry with a concentration in Medicinal Chemistry at Arizona State University (ASU).
I began my schooling as a gifted and talented student in elementary school and progressed to AP and Dual-Credit classes throughout high school. I was involved in a highly competitive Marching Band that regularly competed on the State level as a third chair trumpet player. I was also a three year UIL student in Mathematics and Science.
I frequently exceeded the expectations of each course and excelled in Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Physics, Cell and Molecular Biology, and Biochemistry and Metabolism.
I am bilingual in English and Spanish.
My interests include Science and Physics, Astronomy, History, Music, Computers, Automotive, Ichthyology, Marine Biology, and Pets.

As a tutor I encouraged my students to work hard and diligent in each subject but maintained an air of ease and friendliness. I make courses seem exciting and fun so that my students will want to be the best they possibly can.
