Hello,
I graduated from Virginia Tech in 2007 with a B.A. in English. I also studied Architecture for three years and have a passion for Geometry. In Northern V.A. I taught S.A.T. Prep. at Huntington Learning Center and fell in love with tutoring. I can explain something many different ways, which definitely helped my students catch on to math more quickly. Pictures help sometimes with math if numbers don't. There is no need to ever feel embarrassed around me, we ALL have things we struggle with!

I earned a 3.56 GPA in English at VT and The Poetry Award for a Graduating Senior. I read two pieces of poetry at The Undergraduate Student Conference in 2007. For two weeks, I participated at "All Write at Virginia Tech" Summer Camp and ended up tutoring one of the girls in my session for the duration of that Summer. I have read several works at an "Open Mic Night" and have published ten of my works in four different magazines. I had also earned an Honorable Mention for the First Year Architecture Competition in 2003.
