My name is Ella, by nature, I am a very positive, friendly (chatty), lively achiever and I am bilingual in English and Spanish.

I am interested in tutoring young children through college age. I am confident in my ability to be a valuable asset to your learning experience. As a student with learning difficulties I have developed many "tricks" to learning and remembering various types of information.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a specialty in Conservation and Ecology and a minor in Fine Art (49 credits). I've worked in several laboratories with a wide range of live species (primates, frogs and tigers) and a wide range of laboratory procedures (complete PCR, subculturing live cells, dissociating eye neurons). I am also quite knowledgeable with environmental issues such as invasives, endangered species and “going green”.

My educational background and experience is what I believe makes me proficient at designing creative and stimulating methods of remembering information that accommodate the various learning styles.
