I have a Masters degree from the University of Arizona with a Philosophy major and a Law minor. My specialty is moral philosophy, especially Kant. I also have done considerable work in the philosophy of nonviolence/Gandhian philosophy.
My teaching experience consists of five years of part time teaching at the university level, and two years of full time teaching at the community college level.
The courses I have taught the most are Logic, Critical Thinking, and survey style courses in Introduction to Philosophy and Introduction to Moral and Political Philosophy. But I can certainly work with you in most other areas of Philosophy as well.
I can proofread and provide detailed feedback on written essays, helping you with logical structure, clarity, anticipating counter arguments, etc.
I chose Philosophy as my field because Philosophy is the study of how to think and how to live, and there is nothing more important in life than becoming better truth seekers and growing ethically to become better human beings. I work best with motivated students who genuinely want to learn the material, rather than students wanting to do the minimum necessary to memorize just enough "right" answers for the next test, or who want someone to write their papers for them.
