Hello!

My name is Doug. I've been a tutor for several years on and off through school and now that I am finished with school I am interested in looking into it for some extra income. I have a bachelors in business and a masters. My subject areas are Management of Information Systems, Accountancy and Economics.

I tend to be very informal in tutoring and I tend to try to explain concepts and convey a general understanding of the topic before building to specifics and trying to teach to your specific curriculum. I spent several years tutoring in a "lab" setting during my undergraduate program for accountancy. I also have a lot of experience with tutoring basic math up to calculus both because I've had a lot of classroom education and because I've tutored privately.

Finally, I started out running a PC repair business as a teenager and I've built it into a thriving small business. A big part of that is education of clients both so that they can effectively use their system and to build solid fundamental habits to improve their experience.
