  Answer:

  Tutors set their own rate and most range in price from $30 to $50 per hour, with others either lower or higher depending on experience and cost of living considerations. However, WyzAnt does offer discounts to our students for making an advance purchase.

  • You receive a 5% discount on packages of $200-$399, with a total cost of $190-$379.
  • A package of lessons that would cost $400-$999 will receive a 10% discount, resulting in an upfront charge of $360-$899.
  • A package worth $1,000-$2,499 will be eligible for a 15% discount, with a total cost of $850-$2124.
  • Packages of $2,500+ will receive a 20% discount and cost $2,000 and up.
  Remember, satisfaction with your first hour of tutoring is guaranteed and the unused portion of your purchase amount is both refundable and transferable to any WyzAnt tutor.

Hello Potential Students:

My name is Veronica, and I am excited to be your tutor. I am originally from Chelsea in New York City and consider a good education essential to cultivating a successful sense of individuality in this society.
I have been teaching all my life, whether it be my little brother or in general as I love to spread knowledge as much I love to absorb it!

I studied International Relations at Florida International University in Miami, I am also a Massage Therapist- I studied at Educating Hands School of Massage in Miami. I have a well rounded education, and in January will be pursuing a degree in Literature at New School University in NYC.

In between studying Literature, since my return to New York City from Miami I earned my license in Real Estate, and am also certified to sell Insurance in New York State. My passion is the ARTS, my main focus in life is MUSIC!! I am a singer/songwriter and am learning the piano currently.

  As an artist I appreciate everything that feeds the soul and have a refined style in executing these things. I grew up watching my family of Latin descent cook amazing meals for the entire family. I spent my summers in a traditional household devouring slow cooked, hearty, Italian meals. My grandmother taught me a variety of skills in the kitchen as well as excellent ways to season food delectably. The first time I cooked an entire meal on my own I was 12 years old! From that day forth, grew my love affair in the kitchen... Those who know me best know I have immpeccable style and flair when it comes to cooking. I am constantly inventing new meals and treating those whom I love the most. I dream of having my own place one day for all to come and enjoy my dishes. Not only do I love to cook, I do it in a healthy manner. I believe in Organic living, and in feeding the temple with fuel that will go the mile. I can cook anything, and I can cook it very well!   I wrote my first song at 6 years old, and I haven't stopped writing since. If you are passionate about music and wish to pursue this path, I am a self professed songwriting genius. I have written to all types of music- reggae, house, trance, hip hop, r&b, soul, jazz, alternative, even in Spanish!. I am also a singer, so if your child is an aspiring Singer/ Songwriter, or simply wants to explore this passion as a hobby, I can allow this inner longing to flourish! I was born and raised in New York City and lived in Miami for 4 years...in both cities I spent my time performing and making music. I have innate knowledge of what it means to make GREAT music.
