I have tutored students of a wide range of abilities and backgrounds for many years, both in Europe and the United States. I am trilingual - English, French, Italian - and I also have extensive experience in translation, editing, proofreading. In addition to grammar,reading,writing and conversation, I can offer ample information about the culture, history and everyday life of the countries where these languages are spoken as I have lived in these countries for long periods of time. I take particular interest in the individual, personal needs of the student, I am able to detect weaknesses and find all possible ways to help the student to eliminate them.
If you are an adult and plan to travel to these countries on vacation or business, in addition to instructing you in the language, I can assist you with cross-cultural orientation and logistics as I have detailed knowledge of major European cities.
While I graduated in foreign languages, I enjoy tutoring students in SAT reading and writing. I am particularly strong in English grammar having used my background to develop courses in comparative grammar for continuing education schools.
