May of 2008, I received my Bachelor's of Science in Biology from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA. While at NSU, I worked as an on campus tutor. I tutored the subjects math and science. I am currently pursuing a MAT in Secondary Education also from NSU. I have worked as a substitute teacher in Caddo Parish for the past year. I have also worked with the Urban Support Agency, which is a contracted state funded agency that tutors students at Academically Unacceptable schools.
