My name is Zachary, I recently graduated college, received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, and am excited to begin working with students to help them in any subject area. I have had good reviews from college professors, classroom teachers whom I've worked with, and supervisors and administrators of the school's I've worked in. I have a good rapport with the students, who seem to like my attitude, style, and approach to teaching and learning. Since I have been teaching, I have enjoyed sharing thoughts and ideas with children, seeing as I believe imagination and creativity are as important as standardized testing. I have played since I was able to walk, and have always been interested in coaching children or teens of all ability levels. I worked at numerous camps and clinics through my high school and additional programs from my hometown in New York. I was a starter throughout high school on both the Junior Varsity and Varsity teams, and played in youth leagues and other clubs throughout my career. I have knowledge of the game, rules, and strategies involved in playing this intense but fun sport.

  As a professional educator, I am experienced through college classes, participation, field work, student teaching, and substitute teaching in elementary schools in New York as well as Louisiana. I graduated in May 2009 from SUNY College at Oneonta, in Oneonta, NY, with a B.S. in Childhood Education (1-6) with a 3.19 G.P.A. I have worked with students of all elementary ages, and have enjoyed my experience working with diverse populations of children. I have had great reviews and references from my college supervisors, professors, and classroom teachers who have seen me work and teach with elementary students.
