Hello! My name is Chrissanne. I am 34 years young and I enjoy teaching many different subjects. I am fluent in Spanish and I majored in English at Florida State University (I don't mind tutoring Gator or Hurricane fans).
I recently stopped teaching in the classroom to pursue different goals, but I am still energetic about helping students learn. I think tutoring is an excellent way to connect with the students in a way it was difficult to do in a traditional classroom!
I have Florida Department of Education Certifications in English 6-12, Integrated Curriculum (All Core Subjects) 5-9, Spanish K-12 and Media Specialist PK-12.
I am passionate about Literature, Reading and Novels... I am also an excellent Grammar teacher... I don't know many people still teaching Diagramming Sentences, but I am a believer in that method for teaching Grammar!
I am willing to help ANY students, as long as they are willing to accept responsibility for their work AND are prepared to complete their assignments in a timely manner to ensure that we can continue progressing from one session to another!
