Effective Study skills are the key to success at both college and High School and as a current college instructor working on my PHd I am aware of the need to master these skills. I work with students to improve their recall and understanding of concepts based on a few tried and successful ways of studying and preparing for exams.
Using these skills also enables them to write essays and take multiple choice exams successfully. I instruct on the process of elimination and how to make outlines for essays prior to the exam, based on exam trends.

Capable of teaching English as a second language to students who require this assistance.
Completed my undergraduate studies at Troy University and Masters in Public Administration which requires written and communication skills at graduate level.
Have assisted students with TOFEL and am familiar with the tests and level of vocabulary expected of students.

Capable of teaching undergraduate students Organizational Behavior, Theory, Strategic Management, Human Resources and Office Procedures or Basic Accounting.
Willing to work on one on one basis to ensure student understands concepts will design weekly tests and explain to student how to succeed in taking tests in this area.

public speaking
I currently teach Professional Development at TriState and assist my students in public speaking as well. I received an A at undergraduate level, have participated in debates and made presentations both at the undergraduate level and graduate level. I am currently working towards my PHd and am fluent in english.
I have excellent public speaking skills and have received several compliments from my Professors on my writing abilities at college level. Effective Public speaking calls for pursuation and the ability to move your audience. I am confident that as an instructor I will be able to facilitate the learning process in this area.
career development
I teach Professional Development at TriState and have an MBA, I graduated with honors from Strayer and Troy University. I have a 4.0 GPA and am currently working towards my PHd. I advise students about choice of careers and continuing education. I assist them in writing their resumes and cover letters. I also conduct mock interviews and give them a bank of potential questions that they will be asked.
Most of my students have been hired and retained by their respective employers. They all acknowledge that they have learned a great deal from my class not just about career choices and development but how to choose organizations and negotiate for pay.
college counseling
I have been counseling students on their perspective careers and choice of college since employment at TriState. I discuss and compare the pay scales for college educated students. My students are fully aware of my commitment to the college experience and the goal of becoming life long learners.
I discuss the importance of the statement of purpose and choice of specialty based not just on interest but having the potential to complete successfully as well. I have an MBA and a 4.0 GPA. I have worked both in business and in doctors offices and am fully aware of the type of individual most employers are looking for.
marketing
I have an MBA with a 4.0 GPA and an A in marketing. I have excelled expectations of my Professors in the areas of writing my thesis and papers for projects in the subject area. I have also owned my own business and worked in retail. I have both the theory and the experience required to teach this subject.
microbiology
I have a BS in Biology and received an A in Microbiology. I have a diploma in Optometry and several certificates in the same area of specialization. I am currently an Instructor at TriState, teaching Anatomy & Physiology and am capable of assisting students in this area as well as in areas such as Microbiology.
pharmacology
I have a diploma in Optometry and have covered essential aspects of Pharmacology. I also have a BS in Biology from Troy University and teach Anatomy & Physiology at college level.
I have worked with patients, dealt with Pharmaceutical companies in office, while working for doctors. Am fully conversant with the methodology of the subject matter. I have also taught Medical Assisting at college level and am aware of the responsibilites that both medical assistants and doctors are faced with.
Side effects of drugs and the importance of ensuring that patients list all the medications they are taking to minimize the counter effects of drugs.
sociology
I have an A in sociology at the undergraduate level and have a graduate degree in Public Administration. I currently teach college and am capable of reaching and teaching students at all levels. I beleive that given the opportunity students can learn the material, it is the presentation of the same that presents difficulities.
I am versatile in my teaching skills and generally illustrate with various examples so that the students can grasp the subject quickly and effectively.
social studies
I have a masters in Public Administration and have completed several social studies classes at both undergraduate and graduate level, I also have an MBA and am capable of instructing students in history, sociology, and classes of that nature.
In my program I have also completed classes in government, social science, politics and political science. I am confident as an instructor that I would be able to assist students in this area. I currently teach college and am able to reach students at any level to facilitate their understanding of the subject.
