I am a recent graduate of the University of Miami, with a double major in Political Science and Broadcast Journalism. I have tutored since high school, and have experience with every age group. The training I received while obtaining my Bachelor of Science in Communication allows me to tailor my approach to each individual I encounter. While I believe effort counts, results are everything, and I will work with each one of my students to set realistic goals and achieve them. When starting a tutoring relationship with a student, I like to assess their abilities, and then, as a team, discuss how we should proceed based on the ultimate goal. I am very patient, and I do not like to spoon-feed my students. Each student is capable of finding answers on their own, and as a tutor, I believe it is my duty to teach skills that will make my student self-sufficient in the classroom, and eventually on their own.
