I graduated from college with an Aerospace Engineering Bachelor's degree. In order to do that, I took math classes all the way up to Differential Equations. My grades in math were A's and high B's. I also took C++ and Fortran programming classes while I was there.
I got a Master's degree in Computer Information Systems. This major dealt with a lot of basic business practices and knowledge. I also reinforced my C++ programming skills in a class for this degree. Along the way I even did a little HTML.
Though I am mostly a math and science person, I have spent a lot of time writing letters, memos, and papers for both college and my military career. My skills in the areas of grammar, punctuation, and spelling have steadily improved. My time in the military has also given me the skills to use the entire suite of Microsoft Office programs. I even picked up Visual Basic for Applications programming in order to use them to their fullest!
I can provide services for math, science, and english. I tend to have a hands-off teaching style, preferring to let the students solve as much of the problems on their own. I will step in only when I see them struggling, or when they ask for help.
