I am a creative writer, a booklover, an expressive art therapist and a chef. My passion is helping people find or create the tools, resources, and methods they need to be healthy, happy, and successful on their own terms. I think of mentoring as creative conversation. I engage my students minds primarily through their imaginations. This applies to cooking nutritious, economical, and satisfying meals, exploring great literature, developing ones voice as a writer, and strengthening ones mind-body through hatha yoga. I have a bachelors degree in creative writing, a masters degree in expressive therapy, and a Ph.D. in ecological psychology. My personal subjects of ongoing study are nature, psyche, culture, and health.
