I hold a law degree (Juris Doctorate) as well as a Master's in Library and Information Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. I have published one book, on understanding deportation procedures post 9/11 (a high school book) and one published law review article.
I have extensive experience in Web 2.0 applications as well as XML, HTML, PHP, Photoshop and all Microsoft product offerings.
I've previously tutored in Algebra, Advanced Algebra, and English. I was also a Teaching Assistant for Legal Writing in a law school. I am experienced in Black and White photography, both digital and film and previously taught ballroom dancing.
My teaching style is more on the Socratic method, pushing students to think critically and find the answer themselves, with positive feedback. I feel that making students feel dumb or belittling them is not conducive to learning.
