My name is Mustafa, I am 28 years old and graduated from Brooklyn College with a degree in journalism in 2005. I also graduated High School with a Regents Diploma. My main strength is my writing, I've been published with several publications and I've also been a freelance ghostwriter. I've also been reading since I was three, I'm very well-read and do have experience editing as well. In fact last year I edited a small book that has already been published.
I added algebra 1 to my subjects because I got A's in classes based on algebra in high school, I also did well in any class related to English or writing. As far as my skills as a tutor, I was a peer tutor in math when I was in high school and I felt that I related to my students well and I have anecdotal evidence that I helped people pass their Regents exams. I'm not a "stiff" teacher, yes you will learn, but I do have a sense of humor and I want to make learning fun. I'm certainly friendly and easy to get along with, I also don't get frustrated with the shortcomings of my "students" because I take satisfaction in helping people become strong students and learn about something that they didn't know about. I'm very competitive which is good for my students because it is very important to me that they do well and I won't accept anything less than a drastic improvement from my students. I want you to know what I know.
