I taught marine science at Dade Marine Institute in Miami, and then worked through Siemens Diagnostic Imaging Division in Tampa when market interests were installing high tech diagnostic imaging equipment (Sierascopes, Bi-Angioscopes and NMRI) in Tampa Bay area hospitals. I have managed- doubling sales- a green house of revegitation plants for Conservation Consultants Inc. in Palmetto, Fla. and did water chemistry lab work through them. I have also held a formulator position with a local pharmaceutical company directed at the veterinary industry. Additionally I am certified to teach biology through high school level in the public schools and have passed the aptitude test for holding the Utilities Chemist position with Pinellas County government.
I used my science background to keep the high tech circuit board manufacturing facility of Circuit Concepts Inc. in environmental compliance for 10 years. While there, I over saw wet processing, equipment maintenance and the environmental end, all from the QC chemistry lab that I ran. As a plant manager I implemented Statistical Process Control (SPC) on etching plasmas, chemical purchasing control, lamination processing and multiple plating processes. I used the data to satisfy surveys from customers, law firms and internal managerial interests for support of the cost savings opportunities my findings supported. I have designed and had built equipment and processes that assist the manufacturing interest as a result of these SPC applications.
I am trained in LEAN manufacturing from St. Petersburg College, have a Bachelors of Applied Science (BAS) in Technology Management, A certification in LEAN Manufacturing Lean-Ct (six sigma green belt), and in Computer Integrated Design (CID-ct). I completed the Engineering Technology Six Sigma Black Belt (SIXSG-CT) certification program for business analysis through St. Petersburg College.
